About Me
The Professional Version
Madelyn Mulreaney is from a small town in eastern PA, but moved to Boston, MA, to attend school at Emerson College. She studied Writing, Literature, and Publishing and double minored in History and Health & Society. Her dream is to work in book publishing as an editor, and she also has interest in book design.

Madelyn has been consuming and creating stories (especially magical ones) for as long as she can remember, so it was only natural for her to gravitate towards a career in publishing. She is also an artist, who concentrates in portraits and character design. She uses alcohol-based markers, watercolors, and acrylic paints.

Madelyn's goal is to create content that reflects her passions—including, but certainly not limited to, feminism, disability rights, and mental health.

About Me
The Casual Version
I grew up in The-Middle-Of-Nowhere, Pennsylvania ("An hour-or-so outside of Philly"), in a family of seven (yes, seven!). Wanting to expand my horizons after high school, I shipped up to Boston, where I studied Writing, Literature, and Publishing at Emerson College. My dreams for the future include working as a book editor and one day living in France (Mais, pour l'instant, je dois étudier plus français).

I'm a cat lover, a writer, a reader, and an artist. A hair dye enthusiast, a raging feminist, and an Oxford comma lover. I'll read anything from Shakespeare to Susan Dennard—but I'm partial to anything involving sisters, faeries, or mermaids (bonus points if it has all three!).

I spent my early school days drawing instead of paying attention in math class, and got pretty good as a consequence. I'm a traditional artist that focuses on portraits and self-portraits through my distinctly feminist, cartoon-y style.
